River Basin Roundtable
Due to recurrent drought, water use controversies, and limited supply availability, the Colorado General Assembly passed the Colorado Water for the 21st Century Act. The act created nine regional roundtables made up of local stakeholders and citizens. Roundtables are to identify water related issues and propose solutions within their regions and work collaboratively with other roundtables on broader concerns. The Yampa, White, and Green River Roundtable represent the three rivers within the northwestern section of Colorado.
